Who was the man who said that he would not lower morals to use torture...and then was caught guilty of allowing the torture...and then tries to pass a law allowing him to authorize torture?

Interested obviously didn't hear about how Bush was caught allowing the torture, and how not all the detainees are treated the way he thinks they are, and how only recently has the torturing come to almost a complete stop.

rmagedon, they are CRIMINALS, not terrorists. They are called terrorists because they are resisting the U.S. presence. They are not terrorists, as they have not been afiliated with any incidents in the past, except for fighting U.S. troops. They are just criminals who desperately want us to leave.

Sweetheart, who is torturing? The law that is being approved on Capitol Hill allows for military tribunals, detaining suspected terrorists, not allowing them access to lawyers in the U.S. to protest their detention and why should they, and allowing information gotten from interrogation to be used against them. What's wrong with any of that? Where's the torture? The Geneva Convention doesn't protect non-uniformed people who are not affiliated with legitimate armies, either. So, you've got it all wrong if you think any of this proves the Bush lied about anything. Nice try, though.

you "weenies" have absolutely no clue what torture is do you...the detainees get 3 square meals a day....not the pow's in the Nam...the detainees get the ability to pray five times a day....the pow's in the Nam were hog tied...and prayed in their hearts....the detainees get recreation...the pow's in the Nam got hog tied and beaten.....the detainees have health care...the pow's in the Nam never ever received care for their beatings.....get a clue you idiot "weenies"
