I get the feeling that this is true.
Even though liberals (most of us, anyway) think for ourselves when we access the media information to come to the conclusion that Bush is not doing a good job, Republicans believe that every possible Internet source and news channel is biased with liberal views. Well, all news channels except for Fox News of course. I suppose they would like to think this. After all, the very essence of conservatism is the unwillingness to change. There has always been controversy over what Bush, the White House, and the notorious reporters of Fox News says, but they state the same things right back to us. It's pathetic because the Republican sources never make sense to me, even when i think about it in a clear mind. Think for yourselves! And take what the media says into account, but think for yourself whether or not you believe the info is true. You can't just keep denying nearly every news channel and credible Internet source forever. That's what i have to say.

Generally speaking, yes most Republicans believe only in Bush and tend to listen to Fox News. Believing in Bush’s perfidy gives some of those Conservatives the same comfort and emotional nourishment, some Christians get from believing in Jesus. Why? because It validates them, and cements their political view of the world. However, the setbacks in Iraq, the failure to limit the size of government and the sinking poll numbers have changed the way the smart Republicans think and talk. Today, many well-informed Republicans have lost patience with Bush's high-minded creedal statements, and have lost faith in efforts to transform patterns of behavior, and come to believe that they shouldn't exaggerate how much they can change the whole world. But the dilemma is that those unintelligent and ill-informed Republicans, tend to resist to change. Why? because change is an abstract concept to those conservatives in terms of the assimilation in the logical practical world. Also, this change process can take lots of efforts on their limited-capacity mind. Just let's pray that those moron Republicans are slowly sinking in Bush's crap, which has been spread throughout the world.

Not being a republican, I am a capitalist, I cannot speak for them. I do believe that there is a liberal bias. If you will read this study linked below you will have a hard time not believing in a liberal bias. BTW Fox comes out slightly right of center with Drudge being the center. You did read Bernard Goldbergs book? He used to be with CBS and did a pretty good job of exposing the bias in that network.
I do know a lot of republicans and not a single one only believes Bush, the WH and FNC, my guess is you do not know many and that is why you have a distorted view. Maybe you should get out more and expand your social circle beyond those who believe exactly as you do.
I think what you are seeing is that the left has shifted so far left that the middle looks right to most liberals.
I believe you are wrong about change, it is crucial to any success. But I also consider any leanings towards socialism to be regressive since it is so old and has failed everywhere it has been tried. The only socialist nation in Europe is Sweden and things are not going well there.
I read a lot and try to decipher what is real from the jumble of bias. I also read a lot put out by socialists and liberals so I can better understand what is going on. I suggest that the liberals DO NOT read opposition opinion or news and are therefore live in a cocoon and thusly are only getting propaganda from their own belief system. This is a dangerous position for anyone. From this point I believe you are doing exactly what you are saying the repubs are doing.
This whole irrational hatred of Bush is the cause of what you see in the media, it is a feeding frenzy of hate. I find it amazing since he is but one person, and he is term limited. Irrational hatred, denial and transference are ALL symptoms of paranoia which is exactly where the Dems are today, living in denial and transferring the hate of reality to one person so they feel they are more in control of their reality. You should study this one from the other side instead of standing around ranting about how EVERYTHING is bushes fault.
Dr. Santy, a psychologist, has some very interesting articles on paranoia in politics and is a good read. I must warn you she appears to be decidely anti-liberal although I cannot say she is conservative or supports bush.

Because of a very odd phenomenon that was only recently discovered. The 47th chromosome filters out all information except Bush, the White House and Fox News.
To them, that is the entire world.

Do Democrats only believe in CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC?
How in the world does that matter? Is there something otherworldly about watching news sources from someone who might not share your politics?

people perceive what is presented and digested to their mental nodules. one way or the other is not wrong or right. what is wrong is the statements that you and people like pepijnd make. all that shows is they wear their a s s between their ear lobes and talk with something that isn't their mouth.

... I mean... really I've noticed a change in the Republican party... they do whatever they want now and Fox News preaches it to the people for support...
in the past, they had to comprimise and work with others on issues because they didn't have the propaganda machine to push the policies...
now they just strong arm and do whatever they want, because their supports don't have a clue what's going on...
John... tollerance doesn't mean you blindly accept anything and can't criticize something? no wonder you guys vote Republican, you have no idea what dems are even doing... or what they believe in...

I have a 98% completion rate... I am very rarely wrong on when I do this. I think it might be because I am a Libertarian. JK

You are asking way too much of the conservatives...They choose not to look at the world from any other point of view they think it unpatriotic or blasphemous question these things.
