This year it would have to be Friday the thirteenth and Halloween on the 31st. Each year I also have what I call my time of reflection. It is on the 22nd, 23rd, and the 24th of October. This will make my sixth year. On these three days I reflect on the past, the present, and the future. My mother died on 10-22-2000. Her birthday was 10-23-1926. She was buried on 10-24-2000, which is also my first husband's and another close friend's birthday.

Why, the 14th of course! (That's my birthday.)
Second is the 15th, which is Virgil's birthday. This I learned in Latin III and IV from Father Joseph Stec as we did the Aeneid.
From Wikipedia:
"Virgil begins his poem with a statement of his theme (Arma virumque cano…, "I sing of arms and the man...") and an invocation to his Muse (Musa, mihi causas memora…, "O Muse, relate to me the reasons…"). He then explains the cause of the principal conflict of the plot; in this case, the resentment held by Juno against the Trojan people. This is in keeping with the style of the Homeric epics, except in that Virgil states the theme and then invokes his Muse, whereas Homer invokes the Muse and then states the theme."
