well i had sex with a friend of mine about 2 or 3 weeks ago and now im late for my period about 4 days late and lately i have been having pains in my lower stomach... i need some advice to whether or not i might be pregnant.. im only 18 by the way.... and if you wondering yes we did use protection but i still think i might be.

If you used protection then the chances are pretty low. the pains are probaby your period on the way.
Just buy a pregnancy test to be sure and then it will ease your mind.
In the future - not meaning to be lecturing but just honest - that is why it is better not to have sex with friends. Save it for when you are serious with someone because if it ever does happen that someone is going to be the father of your child for ever!!! Its something i never thought about either when i was your age. But i am one of the lucky ones that didnt get pregnant.

If an egg was fertilized, implantation (when the embryo implants to the lining of your uterus) happens, on average, about 7 days past ovulation. It can happen as early as five days past ovulation or as late as twelve days past ovulation.
Early signs of Pregnancy:
Nausea/vomiting
Headache
Food cravings
Heightened sense of smell
Missed period
Backache
Crampy
Extreme fatigue
Tender/swollen breasts
Frequent trips to the bathroom
These signs can appear as soon as implantation or anytime after, each woman is different! Some women have all of these, some have a few and some women don't have any signs.

If you are only 4 days late it is still a little early however, the month is almost over. What you can do is take the home pregnancy test or goto the doctor to take a blood test...

It is unlikely. It is quite possible for your cycle to change, especially since you are only 18. Wait another week or so (just to make the test more accurate) and take a home pregnancy test.
@ marilyn: Probably not pregnant? You do know that it is impossible to get pregnant just from oral or anal sex, right?

I always knew I was pregnate because my nipples were very sore. when you touch them it will be an irritating feeling. Are u regular on your periods or does it vary? You can take an EPT home pregnancy test. I would advise it if your truely late.

Stop this sort of activity completely or get married and get banged 3X daily. At 18 you really need to think about structuring your life and not just letting it "happen". What "happens" may be a terrible source of regret for many years to come.
