many libs say the war in iraq is for oil? Where is this oil? Are we shipping to the Us or sell it to china? What oil have we gotten?

It's easy: the libs are wrong. We haven't gotten one drop of oil from Iraq since this thing started. Personally, I think we should take as much oil as is needed to pay for the war since we did liberate the people, but the U.S. doesn't do things like that, despite what our liberal friends say.

the war is for our protection. that is resonable. now lets look at how it was handled.
September 11 2001, the WTC was destroyed with hijacked airplanes by Alcaida.
September 12, 2001, we're NOT bombing the hell out of the country. at this point, theres a problem.
Some point in time- we get to Iraq. army generals say, mr. president, we need to take each city individually. "No, i want to take bahgdad and fallujah."

look where it got us. if the idiot just listened, and benedict kept his mouth shut, we'd be doing a lot better

I never said anything about oil. I said it was a senseless war fought for an unjust cause that has resulted in a worldwide mistrust and hatred of the United States leading to an increase in global terrorism and strengthening of Al Queda and Osama Bin Laden.

It was never about the oil, though I know there are conspiracies. It's because Bush Jr. got all pissy cuz his daddy didn't pursue Saddam the first time and uses the war as an excuse. Period.

The neocons in the Bush administration were going to sell the Iraqi National Oil reserves on the open market(Halliburton) to pay for the reconstruction(Halliburton) after that blindingly successful(not) shock-and-awe plan just finished the whole war and allowed the US (Halliburton) to start working.
Because of their blinding incompetence, Halliburton had to content itself with raiding the US military for promised $$$.

Bush invaded Iraq to establish a pliant client state that would allow the U.S. to maintain a military presence in the center of the Middle East to use as a threat to assure the continued flow of oil to the west. Worked good, Huh?

Do you have any idea how naive your question is?
With the war on, Iraq isn't producing much oil. The price of oil increases because of the conflict. As yourself this: Who in the US benefits from having higher oil prices?
Now ask yourself this question: Is he sitting in the White House?
