OK, so I got a lot of stupid responses about my question. I think it's a pretty straight forward. I know the difference, but what is the REAL DIFFERENCE.. what i mean is clarity, shine, quality, durability. Thanks to all who answered nicely without making me sound like an idiot.

There are no chemical differneces between lab-created diamond (not CZ, or moissanite), and natural diamond. The clarities, colors, refraction, all that are identical. As a consumer, the only difference you should see is the price.
With the proper lab equipment, a jeweler or appraiser will be able to see growth marks in the lab-created diamond that one would not find in natural diamonds, because of the conditions lab-created diamonds are grown under.
Hope that answers your question

The shine, baby. The shine. The price is another obvious one. Diamonds reflect the light with different colours and the a c.c. is very even and fake looking. Go to a few stores and learn what the real deal looks like and you will not be fooled by a fake.
Diamonds are also a guy's best friends.
Mr. M on diamonds.

The difference in a genuine diamond and man made is it took millions of years under tremendous heat to make the genuine diamond and you know about how the man made is made.

One was made over thousands of years in nature... while the other was made by humans in a lab. You cannot tell them appart after they are cut though.
