Use an ovulation predictor kit (get them at any drugstore in the preg test section). They tell you exactly when your LH hormone surges, indicating you're within 24-48 hours of ovulation. Typically, ovulation occurs 14 days after the start of your last period if you have a 28-day cycle; 16 days if you have a 30-day cycle, etc.

The only way for you to know if and when you are ovulating is to take your basal body temp each morn, same time and before you get up. You should see a pattern in temps that leads up to and after ovulation. You can get the basal thermometer at Wal-Mart for about 8 dollars. I use a wonderful FREE website called Fertilityfriend.com...it graphs your temps for you, keeps track of your fertility signs, tells you when you ovulate and also tells you if there is an implantation dip in your temps. You can also use Ovulation prediction kits, but they only measure your LH surge and give you a ball park time for ovulation...they do not pin point it. Oh, and it is possible to be ovulating while you do not have your period, just like it is possible to have a period and not ovulate.

so u had your period on the 25 so start 27, 28, 29, 30, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, 10 that is 14 days. So if u want to get pregnant, have sex on the 6, 8, and the 10 just to make sure u hit the day cuz sperm lives in your for about 72 hours while the egg last for 12-24. GOOD LUCK

Math has nothing to do with it.
They have thermometers that you can buy to take your temperature, and they have a schedule inclosed you you will know when the best fertility time is. That works sometime.
However the short cycle means something that needs a trip to the doctor.
A trip to the ob/gyn will answer the question for you.

It has nothing to do with the length of your actual period. If you have a regular period, then you should be able to figure out when you ovulate. Women usually ovulate 14 days before their period is due.You are fertile starting 4 days before you ovulate, the day of, and the day afterwards.

Get the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility." It explains fertility, how to track your own, and unveils common misunderstandings that we all have... like "you can get pregnany any day during your cycle."
My doc recommended this book to me and it was very eye-opening. Oh... and we got pregnant within just a few months of tracking. I've passed it on to friends and the info has worked for them too.

You obvulate 10 days after the first day u start. You have 4 t 5 days to concieve. I know ths cause I went through it with a doctor.It just depends if your body is rady to let it happen.

Depends on whether you have a regular cycle or not. You can go buy those ovulation predictor kits from walmart. You pee on a stick and it tells you if you are ovulating. They come 7 sticks to a box. Good luck!

Go to http://www.mymonthlycycles.com and put in your period info and it will calculate when you will be fertile and ovulating.
It is a free and helpful site (the only thing that helped me understand my fertile days)
