We have been together for 4 years (lived together for 2) and still her adult boys and sister still refuse to meet me. My partner spends every friday night at her old house where her son still lives because he cant get used to her being in a relationship with a man who isnt his father. Im I wrong to be angry with her?

no your not, after 4 years, these adults need to grow up, and accept that you make her happy, your partner is letting them rule her, she needs to stand up to them, either she wants you in her full life or not,

No not at all, I think after 4yrs(2yrs living) that refusal to meet you is down right ignorant but reading between the lines there's obv more to this than what your saying, why after this length of time are you still putting up with her spending each friday elsewhere and not with you if they are all grown up and doing their own thing????

If you have been happy for four years why let it get to you now.
If you want to wreck what you have confront the situation or carry on the way you are and it probably will get no worse. Confront it and you put her in theimpossible position of having to make a choice.
Under that pressure anything could happen.
It will work its self out in the end but it may take a long time

nope get out of there im sorry but if thats the way she chooses to be find some one who wants you for you coz she obviously doesnt the kids are dictating to her and she seems happy for that to happen with no thoughts for your feelings blow her out mate you dont deserve to be treated like that her family should always be important but not to that extent and i love my kids but are not all entitled to a life if you were nasty and didnt give monkeys about her family then fair enough but you obviously care dont put up with it mate not for a minute longer

Yeah it means she doesnt see a future with you and has no intention in progressing in the relationship and she doesnt have any trust for u dude if i were u i would give her the choice either advance or bounce

yes - well i see two things happening here-
1. your girlfriend probably feels that YOU are not ready to get married and so she does not feel the need to complicate matters by introducing you to her fam.
or
2. she likes you a lot but does not know if she wants to be with you for the long run.
if you have expressed marriage to your girlfriend and she turned you down - then its probably #2. it might be time for you to move on to somebody without so much baggage.

lol. this would be a singular and made me dizzy. in case you sense this dating stands a chnace then you definately would desire to tell him the type you sense otherwise it would be fruitless. i think of you will desire to focus on your study for in college men are bountiful and it quite is an thrilling and new financial disaster in ones existence. first of all....how old is her son, and does the father of her son still live in that same house?......iono wut to say about that, because i was dating this guy( he was my first) for 4 yrs. and i only seen his mother like twice out of 4 yrs. she never really asked about me or when i called she never really talked to me on the phone to see how i was doing.how do you feel aboiut them not meeting her family?...if your cool with it then it should be no problem....because as long as you have the person that you love and they love you back in that same way then it shouldnt matter.
