if it is just fertilizer.. without weed control, you can mow after a good watering, if it has weed control you need to wait 24 hours, water, then anytime is good.. next time.. mow first, water, then fertilize, that way with or without weed control, it gets closer to the roots and you don't have to water as much to get the fertilizer to the dirt..

Hummmm..if your grass needs mowing that bad, go ahead. If you used granulated fertilizer it should be watered after or wait until it rains but if you used liquid it won't matter at all. Hopefully you are using something earth friendly. Did you know that beer, dish soap and Epsom salts in the spring is a great tonic for your lawn and that old octagon soap and mouthwash and tobacco juice are the best for bugs. Now you mix this up and use a jug on the end of your hose. I reused the chemical one I had and It works great. Had a hard time finding octagon soap but it's cheap!
