I'd try to walk away unnoticed, get somewhere safe, call 911. Sorry, you didn't add to it that I'm also an excellent markswoman and know how to kick someone's butt. Maybe if that was in it, I'd do something more to intervene.

Putting another gun into the situation isn't going to solve things... could escalate and then where would I be?

The permits are for self protection. Unless I myself was threatened it may not be wise to just shot the thief. In those situations it is usually best to hand over the money.

There was a case here in the town in which I live where this guy had come out of the phone company where he had paid his bill. As he was strapping his baby in the car, three punks about 15 or 16 came up behind him. One had found his daddy’s hand gun and they had decided to go have “some fun” and rob somebody. The kid poked the guy in the ribs with the gun and said, “Give me your money.”
The guy turned around and saw the gun on him. He reached in his front pocket and pulled out a couple of dollars – change from paying his phone bill- and gave it to the boy.
The boy snarled, “That all you got?”
The guy said, “Well, I’ve got my wallet. Do you want that?”
The boy said, Yeah! Gi’me your wallet.”
The guy reached around to his back pocket and brought around a small caliber hand gun and shot the boy between the eyes before he could even blink. The boy was dead before he even hit the ground. His two friends ran.
The thing is this boy had picked the wrong guy to rob. The guy was a Navy Seal at home on leave. After he shot the boy he called 911.
The guy had his permit and was well within his legal rights to do what he did.
The boy it turned out lived in a nice neighborhood where the houses were in the $150,000.00 range 5 years ago. His parents were well off and educated. The boy attended one of the better schools in the city. It’s not like he needed the money or that society had dealt him a bad hand. It’s just that his heroes were the gangta’s and rappers. That’s who he thought he wanted to be like evidently.

unless your a cop,off duty, not much unless the gun would be pointed at me, than I would shoot, because that would be a life and death situation, a armed robbery is not it could be a fake gun, and remember, even if you were correct in using your weapon you still could be charged with a civil suit by the victim, and most likely he or she would win and you would be out of alot of money or even loose your home. There have been cases in which breakins occure in a home late at night, the owner shoots and gets slapped with a civil suit, was he drunk and thought it was his house? Was the intent there for him to use deadly force, could you have tried to go in your room first and locked the door and called 911? To your question again are you the owner of the store being robbed? or a patron?.....to sum all this up if anyone is useing deadly force against you and you have know doubt, yes shoot him or her, otherwise think about some things I wrote, stay safe.

be like ''i do no longer have a gun allow or gun do no longer shoot me!'' take a seat on the floor, devour some chocolates and watch the guy beat the hell outta the cashier! LOL! then shoot him contained in the again as he leaves take somewhat for myself and are available off the hero (the cashier is way too unconcious to understand what occurred!) each and each of the glorie, not one of the prospect!!

Double tap center mass, followed by FTS head shot if necessary.

Just kidding, just sit tight and let the robbers take the money and leave without violence. If they start executing prisoners, then do what needs to be done.

I don't even need to answer this doI??? I mean with special forces training I would try to resolve the issue BEFORE I pulled the gun out. But If I had to pull it, then somebody would go down. And I guarantee it wouldn't be me

I would only use it in case of self defense.
A robbery is just taking things from others, but its much more risky to intervene and loose ones life.

I think that I would back outside and lay in wait in a good hiding spot and call "911" then wait and see what happens from there. No sense getting myself shot if I don't have too........I believe in self preservation..... There is only one person that will really look out for #1 and that is me......

Knowing me as I do, I would try to stop the robbery, and if shooting erupted I would try to shoot the robber. But then I probably would cry from fright afterwards.
