Apply for medicad. It is gov insurance and if you are low income then you can get it. I had it when I as pregnant with our daughter and they paid for all my medical bills even my month stay in the hospital. The only thing I had to do was pay $5.00 at the doctors office co-pay. Try it and see it f you can get it or try the maternity card. Look it up on line. Congrats and good luck.

I don't know what state you live in, but in Washington state you can go to the Department of Social and Health Services and get on state medical. This will cover everything.

My aunt is a financial supervisor for our cities hospital and I am in the same boat. Im a full time student and my insurance does not cover pregnancy.. here is what I did..
you go to the Financial service Dept of your hospital and get a medicade application, then after you fill it out you have to take it to the human resource dept in the city you plan on having your baby.. medicade will cover your pregnancy..

Contact a Social Service agency in your area. They help people with no insurance, especially pregnant women.

You can apply to your state agency to get health insurance for you and baby...but there are income guidelines. You will also need many proofs such as:
Proof of residency
Proof of pregnancy
Proof of income
Copies of bills
Copy of check/savings account statements
License and Social Security card

if you're single or low income you can see what welfare has to offer you, or some other state provision. Ask your doctor or hospital. Or call the welfare offices.
If you have nothing and cant get anything you're going to have to save up as much as you can.
So long as you make payments on your bill theres nothing the hospital can do about it.
Planned parenthood also provides prenatal care for free or low cost for those who qualify.

Go down to DSS or FIA and apply, its super easy and they pay for everything. there are also free clinics. Or you can get your own maternity insuranace online for about, depending on coverage, 50-150 a month but try the state first, its free.

You may be eligible for medicaid. These days medicaid is managed by another insurance company so there aren't as many restrictions on which doctors you can go to.

Go to your local Dept. of Human Services and sign up for assistance. You will have coverage for your baby and yourself until a year after the baby is born.
