What in hell do they mean by a 'Concept Album'?

Instead of a bunch of random songs that have no connection at all to each other, there is a concept or theme idea to all the songs. Watch yellow submarine and see how all the songs are part of the whole picture. Very cool.

That's easy , there is a theme to the album with Sgt. Pepper the "concept" is that the songs are done not by the Beatles but by Sgt. Pepper's lonely hearts Club Band if you listen to the whole album from start to finish you will notice there are no more than 2 seconds between the songs like the band is going from one song to another it is like you are at a concert for Sgt. Peppers lonely hearts club band, the Album itself is a work of art,if you can find a shop that sells vinyl get the mono version of it listen to it and compare it to the stereo version, the Beatles would make Mono mixes of their songs instead of mono copies of stereo mixes so you will notice differences the crowd noises on side 2 are noticably different , Although Revolver isn't called a concept album per say it is interesting that just as a relationship i.e. boyfreind/girlfreind revolves so to a lot of the songs on Revolver are about different stages of a relationship,you should listen 2 that Beatles album from start 2 finish as well.

All of the songs on the album are built around one theme.
Another great one is "Village Green Preservation Society" by The Kinks. For me, it's right up there with Sgt. Pepper.
It didn't do particularly well in the U.S. ( probably because it was considered too English ), but a great record nonetheless.
