The 1992 Chargers started 0-4 and became the first and only team to make the playoffs at 10-6.
No team has ever made the playoffs at 0-5.

The only team ever to do it was the Chargers...Buffalo came close two years ago...they started 0-5 and finished 9-7 lost to Pittsburgh's JV in the last game or would have went.

the steelers are noted for slow starts and i'm not sure if they didn't do that a couple of years ago.
