That's one of the paradoxes of religion and why the logic and rationality for believing in the supernatural worldview fails the scrutiny of objective reality.

I always thought that the atheistic Marxists of the USSR and China killed more people than religious fanatics. I mean, Stalin killed 25,000,000 in his purges, Mao killed 65,000,000 in his outrages, Pol Pot was a piker with just 2,000,000 and Saddam was a veritable Santa Claus having only killed 300,000 of his own people for opposition to his secular regime. Hitler, of course, was an atheist, as was Nazi Germany and they must have killed, what, 10 or 12 people?

Do you think, maybe, that religion isn't the cause of most of the violence in this world. Maybe it is the asinine desire for power at any cost, which has no basis in religion what so ever.

Murder is wrong, noones got the right to take someones life from him.Killing in the name of Lord if the Lord had a problem he wouldn't have created the being.
Of course they go to hell(if there is any place as such)
Such killings are just to please oneself and put the blame on god.But now people get brainwashed to do so.

If you caught, "In God's Name" on CNN, it's obvious wars in the name of God are anything but that. It's an excuse, a veil to cover their greed for territory, political change, oil, etc. Some of the suicide bombers may have believed somebody's b.s., but the majority do not fight for religious beliefs.

because to the church those who do not believe in their god are going to hell anyway so the church just wants to speed up the process. hell if the church tells you to kill these people god will forgive your sins and you'll go to heaven, so go join the army!
