Whatever you do, DO NOT USE PROACTIV. It's expensive, and it didn't do a thing for my skin. The product that worked the best for me is, Avéne. You can get this from teh doctors office. I've tried a ton of other products but this is the only one that worked really well. Also if you are focusing on one big zit, right before you go to bed, put toothpaste on it, will be almost gone by morning. Good luck with the product you try.

acne removal
apply a paste of fresh fenugreek leaves over the face every night for 10-15 minutes and wash off with warm wateer. prevents acne, pimples, blackheads and wrinkles.
extract juice of one lemon and mix equal quantity of rose water. apply mixture on face and let it stay for half an hour. for 15-day apllication, this cures acnes, pimples, reduces blemishes and scars.
peel and mash 8 cloves of fresh garlic. apply on face avoiding the area around the eyes. leave on for about 15 minutes. wash off with a warm cloth. finish with a rinse of vinegar pH balancer.
1 teaspoon of groundnut oil mixed with an equal amount of lime juice may be apllied daily to prevent formation of blackheads, pimples nad helps acne treatment.
get some rose water in a bowl. add equal amount of cucumber paste on it. stir it properly and have a pack of it for 20 minutes. it will also help in controlling pimples.

tea tree oil. use a cotton ball. the stuff stinks so use at night. dries out face perfect. only $5 a bottle too. get it at wallmart in ointrment isle. i use for years. works great!! good luck
