I think its wonderful! Very unique with a possibility for a common nickname-scott! It sounds royal and I like it-way to go!
My Son's names is Theophilus James-don't shy away from names because they are different!

That's kinda foolish, not to be rude. However, do you really want to combine the country Scotland with the name Charles, which is a British name.

Charles is fine, but I'd drop the "Scotland" part. If you insist on keeping it, perhaps consider reversing it. Charles Scotland.

Its sounds like a wisecrack name for Prince Charles, who, as you know, is often in Scotland.

i would have it the other way around charles scotland that goes better the other way seems not to match

I like it. But my daughter's name is America Madeleine. So. :)

She's 15 and has had a small amount of teasing, but mostly people compliment her on her unique name. She herself loves it.

It is very unique...but I really like it! Kudos!! I mean after all, people name girls Ireland and Brooklyn and that is accepted.
