There are 2 ways:
1: hold down the alt and pnrtscreen keys at the same time, then open a word processor program and seect edit/paste this will show the active window only.
2: If you want to print the active window and anything else thats behind it, use printscreen key only and then edit paste this will print all the data.
try it and see what is best for what your trying to do.

File and print preview will make it printable for what is on the screen, then hit print

alt+prt scr. It will copy what's on your screen to the clipboard. paste it into paint and save as an image. Then print it with whatever image printing software you have.
of course we all know where the elusive prt scr button is... right? i doubt it. see the left arrow key? it should be the top button above it, unless your keyboard's different.

Press
Shift-Print Screen... it will capture your screen to the buffer and you can paste (ctrl-v) it into a graphics program (or in MS word) etc... to print

If you want a pic of your whole computer screen just hit Alt+PrtSc and that will copy it, then just paste it in paint or photoshop (if you have it) and print it from there

go to file, at the top of your screen, click print, and make sure all has a dot next to it
