Well I haven't gotten my period since June and I'm worried. I was using the birth control patch 6 months in 2004 and took it off Dec. 2004 and since then I'm not that regular but I still got it. I took test at home and they come out negative. We're trying to conceive since then but nothing has happen yet.

The general rule for home tests are there is such a thing as FALSE negatives, but generally NOT FALSE positives, so with you having negative tests, it may just be that your hormone count is too low to be detected, that happened to me once, IF you are not pregnant it could be stress or many other health problems, I would go see a Dr for sure !!! Take care :)

I understand that your periods are irregular, but are they ever 3 months apart? I would go to your doc and get a blood test.
Just on a personal note, the last time I had my period was in June, and I am 14 weeks pregnant, I hope its the same for you!

my couson was on the pill injection for about 10 years!

she has just recently had a baby boy.

she was trying for a baby for about 3 years and at one point thought there might have been a problem conceiving so they went to see the doctor for tests.

to this day she thinks it may have been down to the injection.
it can take a while for your system to recover from these things.

when i was 15, i went on the pill.
i had always had regular periods while i was on it, but at one point my period didn't come.

i thought that i was pregnant but i wasn't!

the doctor said this can sometimes happen when your on the pill.

maybe the contraception is still in your system. if your worried go speke to you doctor.

good luck!

i am not sure about the patch but i know i was on depo and after i got my last shot it took over a year for me to get pregnant so maybe the irregular bleeding is a side effect so it's best to check with your doctor and good luck on conceiving!

You need to go see a doctor ASAP because it is not natural to not have a period for such a long time. Only a doctor could explain exactly what is going on in your body by taking a certain test. (Good Luck)!!!!

Hmm, think i advise you to go see a doctor. Cos from Jun til now, you have missed your period( for 3 months). Try doing a pregnancy test again. Think you might be pregnant.
