YES! They have erected some of these near where I live and whenever I see them I think. . . . . . . good clean energy, they are generating power from the air and that does not pollute the environment like Nuclear, so my grandchildren can live in a cleaner world.

I work for a groundwater consulting firm and some of the people here are afficionados of the windmill. It was one of the simplest and greatest inventions to pump water. Now it can be one of the greatest sources of power without the use of fossil fuels. The windmills used for power is expensive, 1.3 million/mill but pays off in the long run.

lets see... power derived from WIND... cheap, an effective (in certain areas)...

compared to coal power plants, or nuclear... Hmmm... what a question...
