Canada had a first class army that was better than the Americans in World War 1 and equal to the Americans in WW 2. Our Army sucked ten years ago under the Liberal government who pathetically didn't spend a dime on it. Now that we have a new government and a new Prime Minister who is putting money into it, our army is at best up to NATO standards. We have a long way to go, but we won't be mocked any more. Our soldiers are excellent.

Canada used to have one of the finest military organizations in the world. What they have now is pretty good, albeit under-supported by the government. Lets see if Harper changes that. Lately they are best know for getting shot up by American Air Force pilots, which truly blows. They are doing a very good job in Afghanistan though.
