Get a few old pairs of pants and old long sleeved shirts. Stuff them with quilt batting, put old haloween masks on the and plant them in your yard so the feet are sticking up and the upper bodies are coming out of the ground. Make some headstones out of wood or cardboard and put them with the bodies. It creates the effect of zombies in an old cemetary. My brother used to do stuff like this all the time. Then he would dress up to look like a fake zombie and sit on a chair on the front porch. When the kids would come to the door, he would sit there until they got their candy and then scare them. They had no idea that it was a real person.

We are both grown and on our own now, but we used to have a lot of fun on halloween.

Oh yeah and we had a window over our front porch. We would swing a stuffed dummy off the porch at people. It was great fun to watch them freak out!!

Also, go to walmart or any halloween store and just go crazy with stuff. Spider webs, black lights, monsters and mask, spooly music, etc.

Good luck and have fun!!

The answer to this depends on your budget. If money is no object the I suggest you hit Party City and go wild. However if you are on a budget then maybe you will like these ideas, Use a hefty garbage bag for a body and a black balloon for the head. Blow up the balloon, next fill a garbage bag( you can use plastic grocery sacks) to a size you like. Using another garbage bag cut 8 strips for legs. Attach legs to body using electrical tape and attach balloon to body with a wire tie. Use glow in the dark paint to paint a face . Next make a web using the packaged stretch king and then hang the spider in the middle! Another idea is to use some old clothes and stuff them like a scarecrow. Use a peach balloon for the face and glow-in-the -dark paint to add a face. A bog straw hat and have it sit on your porch or lawn.

You can also have the kids paint pumpkins using garden rocks. Paint them orange and add faces . You can create a whole family of these.

You can use tootsie rolls and tie a white tissue around the to make ghost. Use a marker to add faces and then hang them in your tree!

Hope you like these ideas.........Have FUN!

There are some great ideas on 365halloween, which is a group here on Yahoo!. If you don't mind joining, I suggest you check it out.

Then again, there are party decorations that they sell in packages. (If that's what you're doing.) I love those scene decorations. My favorite website is www.buycostumes.com for ideas.

Decorate you home by inviting a less fortunate family to celebrate with you....remember...the best is determined by what is on the inside...not the outside.
