Windmills produce electricity. They spin as the wind blows, and thus they spin a generator which converts the wind energy into electricity for your home!

Do you mean the ones that have steel towers?
Here in Nebraska they pump water for livestock.

it is an old fasion - but due to the increase of the fuel price...
but in denemark - they are build for producing electricity.
