All thorns intact.
Polish them every day.
Feed them goodness.
Nourish them with ambrosia and nectar of the gods.
Cultivate them tenderly on hilly mountains with ocean view.
Submerge them in fiery sunsets.
But most important of all,
I carefully file the ends,
as I want no harm to be done
to those that come close and touch.
