Not in the first trimester. But after that you should ask your OB/GYN and make sure, but it should be alright.

I think it is safe as long as you use the one that does not have heavy chemicals in it. Using a mask is also a good idea...

I am 32 weeks pregnant and I tried to dye my hair and it did not take. I was so pissed off because I really wanted to make a change, I am going to have to wait until I have the baby...

This is from my Doctor: There have been no conclusive studies showing that hair dye has an adverse affect on an unborn child.

he said it was better to wait until after 14 weeks to color and to color in a well ventilated area.

Check out these sites:

There are a ton of them.. I did my search using "hair dye and pregnancy"

As far as I know after you get through the first three months you can...just ask your doctor to be sure. I don't think a face mask will help with your skin absorbing chemicals....

Yes you can and I just recently did it 2 days ago and I'm 12 weeks along.I'm the mother of 2 already and did it with both of them. The color took.I also called my Dr to recheck before I did anything.Just make sure you use the one with no ammonia or a low dose of it.

Not in your first trimester. After that you can use organic hair dye.

Its not recommended, only because they haven't done enough testing on it to make sure it won't harm the baby.
I played it safe with all of mine, and passed on the color change!

Yes you can but remember that your hormones are wacky right now and your end results may not come out like you planned and the color may not take as well.
