Awwww Ellie dear... the responses to your question are 100% correct.
I went through the same thing in school and you know what?! I went from a scrubby, long-legged tomboy to a strong, confident fashion model.
You have to believe in yourself. Let them crack jokes, let them make fun.... you know you are an incredible, adorable girl. Walk with your head up high. Be proud... you should be.
Trust me... by the time you get through school - you'll see that none of the things they said...even mattered.
Ignore them. Don't stoop to their level...
One day - you'll run into them and... they'll wish they would have known you better.

You're too worried about everyone else's opinion...go and find the style that you believe flatters YOU and makes you feel comfortable and confident...If anyone is making fun of you for what you look like is ridiculus because EVERYONE looks unique and different. Embrace that. If you glow with confidence people le won't be able to put you down, they'll notice that confidence. Don't worry about it girl, that just means that they're insecure about the way they look.
If you're doing the best you can and you reach that level of confidence with the things you do, there's nothing you need to worry about. A lot of people get the same feeling as you.

the people that make fun of you are stupid and rude. they have not grown up or been taught proper respect for others....i say your are a good person and if they do not like the way you look, too bad for them....i know it makes you feel sad, but change your inside thoughts, and tell yourself the person i am is good, and i am special. try reading some self help books to realize outside looks is not the real deal.....be true to yourself and let these people at school grow up some more.....[as long as you and your clothes are clean, you are doing good, consider the source, keep telling yourself that they are not mature and hope they grow up soon. keep your head high and do not pay any attention to them, they are not worth your angry..or your time........

look, people may make fun of you, but you have to forget about them. i sometimes feel the same way, and all you have to do is deal with the idiots and do what you want
trust me, you probably don't need a makeover. just stay true to yourself, and don't be afraid (trust me) to insult them back. today i had a similar problem, just give them "the look" and say shut up in a rewally annoyed voice..... hee hee :-) good luck!

You don't need a makeover all you need is to show these people I'm ok with myself and if you have a problem with it then your just not worth my time. Don't change yourself for other people's standards.

you should listen to the song "Unpretty" by TLC.
Even if were able to change your appearance there would still be people who made fun of you. Accept yourself as you are. Outer beauty is not everything. We are all beautiful in our own way but the media makes it hard for us to appreciate our individual looks as they dictate what the standard of beauty is. Here's a bit of trivial knowledge... They retouch and airbrush the photos of all those beautiful models and celebrities that we see in the magazines, so apparently not even they live up to the standard of beauty.
Be you baby! Be you!

You need to focus on your good qualities! It is very hard when people are constantly pointing out the bad...which is what people do. You could have the best abs in the world, and someone can say, look at those raggedy teeth. Seriously...and it all stems from our need to feel better about ourselves. We all do it, and it sucks...
But...what you can do for yourself to feel more confident is find out what you absolutely love about yourself. Your great legs, your smile, your nose, or what not...anything and focus on that. Try to remember that nobody is perfect. Stand tall, be proud, love yourself for who you are, and it's not worth other people's time if they can't see that.

Walk up to a mirror and say to yourself, "Hey Hottie!"
When you walk down the hallway, smile at people that you know...and even those who don't...smiling always makes people feel warm and that'll give you more confidence!
I wear absolutely NO makeup to school...and I never have a confidence problem...it sounds like it's all in your head....so just start thinking of yourself positively....don't get vain, now, watch your ego so that it doesn't become a problem.
And when people try to bring you down? Just smile, shake your head, and STRUT, not walk, away!!!

you have to be confident because you are you, not because of your clothes, you have to be stronger and accept yourself. If people make fun of you its because they have nothing better, and most likely they are insecure. Why dont you get a book that helps in improving confidence, it would do you wonders, honestly.
dont think of those people who do you bad, concentrate on the people who have a possitive impact on you.
Good luck and God Bless
