give dell ago they have some cheap laptops, even better when you buy online.

Do you live in the UK? If so, I'd check out Tesco's as they've started selling laptops and I've seen one as low as £299. I'd go for something slightly more expensive though as it's more likely to last. But if you're only a home computer user, all you're looking for is a half-decent memory capacity and speed and maybe a CD and DVD burner.

MACS are the best but expensive! Gateways are ok too but expensive as well. if you want a good hard drive like 60 gb which is a good size and a good processor like celeron m then go with a gateway model mx3228 you can check then out at the source website i posted. they are like on sale for 800 dollars so buy in while you can! if you want a good laptop in the long run get a mac though.

i just got a laptop lik a month or so ago for lik 500 & its really really cheap at walmart.com :] trust me its a really good computer. teacher's use it. : ] i hope that helps.
