i guess after watching All in the Family for all those years and Edith died i really felt bad for Archie

I think it would be a normal reaction after following a character for many years ... I mean, the characters become part of your life ... so it is normal to feel a sense of loss when they are gone.

I was sad when I heard that Phil Hartman's wife killed him. And I was sad when Chris Farley died. I just thought, "what a waste!"

I do whether they die on the show or in real life. I think most caring people do. But, that shows that you have a good heart. After all, these people are only playing characters. But the characters are resembling a real life....and when bad things happen to people, we should be sad. Plus these people give a lot to entertain us

Sure, after watching any program, soaps included, you begin to feel you really know that person, of course you grieve when they die on the show.

(tear, tear) yes i do. not only when they die but if something bad happens to someone, it makes me sad too. and when they are happy, im a happy too. i gues i feel like im sorta part of it. haha i cannot help myself

yes i do!!!!!! i cry everytime i watch titanic. that movie is based on a true story too.
