Hey, just wondering if anyone has heard any rumors etc, about The Ring 3 and it's stroy.

same as the other answer, i've heard that there MIGHT be a third one, but the main characters will not be returning.
the ring is my favorite movie, but if there is a third one, it might not be worth watching it

This movie will take place 30 years prior to The Ring, telling the story of Samara's mother. As it is a prequel to the first two features, it is unlikely that it will star Naomi Watts. Despite the fact that these movies have done well at the box office, experts predict that this will go over "like a lead zeppelin".

All I've heard is that it's still a work in process and that it was going to be "a small, intimate movie" on a much smaller scale than the previous two movies. Also, Naomi Watts won't be returning for this third installment.
