an annulment? most of the time i know people will say..."oh it just didn't work out...or "It didn't work out how i expected it to." or whatever you give to acq./friends...that you are not really planning to know anyway...Should you just wait three months or what???Before you give him a real reason....

Give him the real reason when he asks why. If he doesn't ask, there is no reason to throw it out there day 1. If he asks, be truthful. If he hasn't asked, he may not want to know yet.

You don`t start a relationship out with a lie .
When they ask what happened ,Tell the truth.
Don`t start any relationship out with the gory details .
The date should be about the two of you,not your ex`s.

I tell them right from the beginning. They'll ask if I'm single and I say yes, I was married but my marriage didn't work out, it happens. Let's them know I am single and dating is ok with me.

The moment it turns from a casual dating to something more meaningful. That goes for anything personal or embarrassing.

I'd rather know right away.

if you aren't ready, at least let him/her know that you aren't ready to share the whole story - better than just making something else up or being vague.

(plus, you won't feel like you're hiding something if you put it that way, or just tell)
