My friend from mexico is coming over and i want him to taste some of the best food in Chicago. Can someone please tell me where a good restaurant is located. I dont care how much it costs. PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take your friend to where he wants to go to... Offer a couple ideas and let him pick what he is feeling like tasting... no biggie there is plenty of places to go all depends on his taste buds.....

I have been to Cafe Ba-Ba Reeba - a tapas restraunt. It is good and has a nice atmosphere. Good Mojitos!!! Also Nacional 27 - they call it a Modern Latin Retaurant - with a ceviche bar and salsa club. It was fun and the food was great. They have many restaurants in this company it is called Lettuce Entertain You - http://www.leye.com/welcome.html - I am not a fan of chains but they are really good fun and young. Have a great time.

Your friend would probably enjoy a steak house, or fresh seafood. I have friends from Mexico and they eat very simple foods: tortillas, meat, salsa, and beans. I am sure Chicago offers many fine places to dine. Enjoy!

there's a GREAT pizza place called Giordano's (i think)... look up italian restaurants. they have really good deep dish pizza.
actually the pizza hut there is much better than in california too! good luck~
maybe u can look on www.citysearch.com, or www.opentable.com (i'm not sure if they work in chicago, but u can try!)

OH my!! there are soooo many good places in Chicago, Ok DO NOT take him to Olive Garden .. dont!
Call the nicest hotel, ask for concierge and ask them! they know it ALL!
