every nite 5 days a week at 11:00 pm shes up watching her"soap" all the while neglecting my needs and we've been together for 4 yrs now all of a sudden no matter what i do her soaps are more important why?????/

i know someone whos been watching it for 20 years, and there is nothing stupid enough on the show that can happen to make her stop watching.

+ I would suggest that you find something more interesting for her to do than the SOAPs. Start slow by pretending to like them (soaps so you are with her) then get her to like something else then switch her to something that you want. Might be worth a try rather than throwing 4 years down the drain.

( The ratings are down down down) I not often even song into Days- watched that on & off for most yrs- began gazing again at the same time as steve & kayla got here again and Days changed into actually transforming into a 'ordinary' soapbut it went all extraordinary again and the more youthful characters somewhat took over. at the moment i'm somewhat gazing OLTL and GH- gazing AMC specially for beth elders & ricky paull goldin ( as taylor & jake)- like tadd and jessie yet angie is getting on my nerves-- ought to care a lot less about the entire greenlee/kendal/ annie stuff

We are women, and our soaps are very important to us!! Be like my husband and start getting into them with her.....He likes them so much now he can tell you what goes on with the different characters....If your girl likes soaps, you are probably going to start a war by trying to get her to stop watching them.....maybe try compromising....like before and after her soap yall hang out, but during them you watch them with her, or sit there and do something you like etc....good luck!

I stopped watching soaps because it made my a s s large (I call it a soap bum),everything is all better now...record them watch later?

I do that , too! She's watching Days of Our Lives, isn't she?!? Well, I watch it because fiction is much more romantic than real life. Have you tried being romantic with her? I mean, not just in bed, but coming home with flowers, or surprising her with dinner reservations, etc...? Try it, it just might work.
