I find its sometimes true and sometimes not always there. I check it now and then. I had an experience a couple months back where for entire week the paper was dead on about my horoscope.
They dropped details that were just accurate. I mean sure most of the time its a general overview of what could happen to thousands of people who are listed the same sign. If you want accuracy you would have to get your chart done right.
Is it true? Depends. I could also ask why do crazy people and animals go nuts under a full moon. No one could really answer me that either.
In my opinion there are many things in the Universe we do not know and the many things we do know were not even sure of. For things like horoscopes take it for what it is but I wouldn't put that much more on it.

Astrology is about the stars and planets affecting lives. I am open to the possibility that where the planets are and where the stars are can affect someone's life - the sun and the moon clearly affect everthing on this planet so there is a good example!
Gravity may have an affect on our mood or other physiological mechanism that has yet not been found and since the stars and planets create graviational forces, who knows?
Horoscopes however never seem to take into account this information though, they generalize, but since the orbit of the earth is one year there will be some yearly cycle associated with planets and stars and where they are so its not just a load of rubbish, they is some method in the apparent madness.
This does not mean I believe in it, but I am not completely closed off to the possibility that it may have a tiny bit of truth somewhere.

Many people believe in it, but many people still believe the earth is flat and that it was created in 7 days. I am a qualified astrologer, but I "lost my religion". I did many horoscopes for people about whom I knew nothing. When I started doing them for people I knew, I saw that most of the things in them were wrong. A few details were accurate, but not so close it couldn't be coincidence. I could invent my own system that'd be as accurate and probably more so than astrology. True Believers in astrology (or religion, UFO's, Bigfoot, etc.) see only the few parts that seem accurate while totally ignoring many more that are wildly inaccurate. I give you an expert opinion when I say horoscopes are nonsense.

I don't know. They're might be something behind it. Like someone else said, the sun and moon affect other things on our planet---why couldn't they affect our moods and personalities as well? Not saying that I believe in it; I'm just not closed to the possibility of there being something behind it.
I had a professor in college that said that every year the astrology/horoscope people give a certain time of year (maybe even a certain date, I can't remember) that is supposed to be best for planting your garden. He said that he knew people who followed that, and they always had the best gardens. Now, that doesn't mean that they had great gardens because of the position of the stars, planets, etc. I guess we can just take of that what we want to.

Yes I do! Not so much in the week to week, day to day stuff but more the make-up of the person born under a sign. It is far and few between the occasions that with a little discernment..,I actually get it wrong. Mostly it comes down to an instant yes/no scenario about how you feel about a person....find out out later what star sign, and yeah... no wonder you didn't see eye to eye!

I'm sure that there are people who believe in it. Of course it's just nonsense. But then so is religion, and look at how many people believe in that nonsense as well.
