TRY TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND LOOK FOR A SMOKE FREE PLACE TO STAY.

Start looking for another place. If, on the other hand, you're stuck there, see if you can get an air purifier for your room and when you're home, don't stay where they are smoking. Second hand smoke is dangerous no matter what anyone thinks and it's good that you are aware and that you don't want to be around it. The best scenario would be if they would go outside to smoke, but some people aren't open to that idea.

If they only smoke in their room and there is a purifier you really have no cause to worry. There has been a lot of hype lately over secondhand smoke, but truthfully people have been breathing secondhand smoke directly for years with far fewer ill effects than the Clean Air Coalition would have you believe. You'll be fine. There are far more important things than secondsmoke out there to worry about.

If you can smell the smoke, you're inhaling it. If you sit on a couch in a room where no one has smoked all day, but you can still smell the smoke on the couch, than you're inhaling smoke.
Avoiding it? Depends on your situation. Are you a son / daughter of parents who are smoking? Tell them to take it outside or quit before you end up with lung cancer in 20 years. This issue is a lot more serious than people look at it as....

Have you asked them to completely stop smoking inside of the house? Ask them to smoke outside. It effects you and your unborn child. If the won't, then consider moving.

I would ask them to smoke outside or at least open their window when smoking. I would try that and see what they say.

It doesn't sound like a lot of smoke to me! First Purify your immune system... Drink lots and lots of water then go out and get your own air purifier.

I would l hope the people you live with would smoke outdoors, away from your baby's world. If you have cental air, then the smoke is coming your way.
I pray for their compliance.

I would ask them (nicely) to smoke outside, away from you. If they don't, try to find another place to stay. You don't want your baby inhaling that stuff.
