OKay so here is what I'm trying to do, I work at a bank and I want to set up an account to collect money for the IRC. I'm 18 years old, I'm in this med prep class where we could do it together. I'm the vice president of our class representing us at HOSA (Health occupation students of america) and the President has connections to the local media. I was thinkg we could try and rais awareness and people could make deposits and it will be for a set time and then it will all be donated to their cause. I'v contacted the organization and they are working on some ideas and details, do you have any suggestions on how to make this work or better, I would really appreciate it. Oh and I also plan to work for the IRC when I'm done with school.

You WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER OFF to collect money for The Salvation Army, which doesn't give its full-time staff big salaries and fancy offices, OR have executives who steal from the organization.

But, then, since you are planning to work for the Internation Red Cross full-time, you are probably aware of these things and are just feathering your resume at the sacrifice of your "friends".

The IRC is a national scandle that has not yet been brought down.
