What the heck have you gotten yourself into. No advice here. I wish you luck and I'm glad I'm not you right now. Poor guys!

How the heck did that happen? I can only assume the girl who asked 2nd is the one you really want to go with so you accepted even though you had already told the 1st girl yes. NOT good. What you SHOULD have done was tell the 2nd girl you are sorry but you already have a date for homecoming. If you would have known she was available and willing to go with you that you would have loved to go with her. Then tell her you hope to see her there. You should be a man of your word. If you had a date you should have honored that even if something better came along later.
OK as for the current issue. Do you have a friend who is dateless. Maybe you can get him to ask one of them to go or cancel with both because ### # doesn't have a date and you don't want to make him feel like a 3rd wheel. If not the final option is if you already said yes to 2 to go up to one and say I am sorry but I am not able to go to the dance with you. You could even cancel with both and not go to the dance.

You should have told the second one no after you'd accepted the first one. If you want to be perfectly fair, tell the second guy no.
When you were feeling desperate you accepted the first guy's date. You know that's the truth. Now that the second guy you prefer has asked, you want to ditch the first one.
If this plays out like the sitcom/after school special it sounds like, you'll dump the first guy and the second guy will dump you after that. You'll end up without a date as the closing credits run.
Good luck.

hey why not take them both. it has been done.just get them both together and tell them your taking them both to the prom.ever which one that is not ok with it well you know the drill shes out.your not in love with them are you?if you are you need to find the best one that suits your tastes.the laws of attraction apply in this situation.particularly if one states that the other can go with you and the other states she wont go. well the one who gives up the chance to go would be the best to take. i know it soulds odd but how else to find a gf who can miss out on this great date?

Why did you accept 2 in the first place? It's your problem now.
