It might encourage people to come in to go on line with their laptops - the downside is that they are unlikely to buy much while there.

I don't know of anyone that goes to a coffee shop to use a computer. It would be a dream place for a hacker to log on and get business info if business people really used them. I mean just set in the parking lot and log on and hack away. You could even send out millions of spam emils and they would bust the coffee shop.

customers would want to stay more since they can drink, read, and surf the net, and some percentage of those customers will get a second cup for that. :)
