My husband is a huge baseball fan, but I'm his baseball clueless wife!

Somebody told me Rawlings was a great baseball brand, so I was looking at these bags from Rawlings Leather Goods ( http://www.sportsaccessories.com ) :

FIRST: Look around his stuff, look for items that display his favorite team or old baseball stuff from when he played back in the day.

SECOND: If his team is at the top of the standings, but him something to get him ready for his support during the playoffs. If his team is doing poorly, look at the standings on MLB.com, skip on buying him something to remind of the team. Buy an item related to his youth.

THIRD: If he has a Rawlings glove, BUY THAT FIRST BAG, it's amazing. I had a Rawlings leather glove growing up and was in love with it - those leather bags are awesome, thanks for pointing them out. Some guys are big Wilson fans, I bet their are Wilson bags out there as well, but Rawlings is so insync with baseball players.

Hope that helps :)

Those items are all very nice, and I do not know your husband AT ALL, or what his likes and dislikes are (of course!). :-))

I am also a HUGE baseball fan.

My cable TV company offers a "Baseball Package" every year. I get to see ALL the Major League Games.

It costs $159.00.

I, as a baseball fan, would MUCH rather have that than ANY leather accessory, however nice it might be!

Call your cable company! :-))

I called my cable company last February, and asked WHEN I could sign up for the "early bird special" on the baseball package. They laughed at me, and asked if I was "wishful thinking."

Then, in April, they called me back, and asked if I still wanted to sign up! :-)) I did! :-))

If you have a couple of grand to spend tickets to the World Series. Or go to his favorite team website and click on the shop link, and browse around their online store. Theres alot of cool stuff. Some of the stuff is a littile expensive like a $2,500 team recliner but most of the stuff are pretty reasonable and he would probably like it more than just equipment since he might not be the right glove or bat for him even if it is the most expensive or supposedly be the highest quality.

Plan a trip to the Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa. However, this is not really a "gift" - but it will get you major respect for bringing it up!

Another gift could be an early exit from the playoffs by the Yankees. That might be pricey, but worth it.

Telling him that you are pregnant and that you are having a boy and going to name him "Joseph DiMaggio"...or "Mickey Mantle" or
"Babe Ruth" or "Yogi Berra" or "Lou Gehrig" or "Whitey Ford".......get the idea?......by the way if you name him "Mickey Mantle" don't let him know that I gave you this idea!!
