i have a 15 month old daughter and still avent got back to my original figure!
before i became pregnant i was a size 8 and had never had any problems with my weight.
at the moment i am in between a size 10 and 12.
i am quite a busy person and eat a balanced diet, so why can't i shift the weight.
it does get me down at times knowing that i have nice clothes in my wadrobe which i still can't fit in to!
i haven't really got the time to go to the gym as i also work.
me and my partner are currently trying foranother baby and have been for nearly 2 months.
the thing what scares me is that i may probably put on even more weight again when i do conceive and then be twice the size as i am now after my pregnancy, then it will be even harder too shift!
so i just want to loose a bit of the weight now so it won't be as hard!

you have to make time to exercise, there is no way around it. Your skin streched out, the only way to tame that flabbyness is to work it together. There is this program stroller strides that I've heard of, you work out with your baby in small groups with other local mothers, maybe something you could look into.

Dieting alone won't help you loose weight. It's eating the right foods - I'm sure by now you have heard the hype about good carbs and bad carbs, there is some truth to that. If you want to loose an instant 5lbs cut out sugar from your diet and caffinated beverages, that doesn't mean replace it with splenda or equal. Try stevia or fructose as a sweetener; these are much better since they do not throw your insulin levels out of whack. You also have to do some cardio and weight training to maximize your results. Or do something fun like get some belly-dancing tapes, or someone else recommended Windsor Pilates, get a variety so you don't get bored. Good Luck

The way that I lost all of my baby weight is I saw a dietitian. She basically put me on a diet of white meat, steamed veggies with no butter or salt, fruit but no grapes or banana's, fat-free yogurt, eggs, skim milk, pop-smart pop corn, I could have peanuts with no salt, and water, tea, and diet drinks. And she made me get a stationary bike and ride on it 30 min. everyday. Drink LOTS of WATER!!!! And eat breakfast in the morning. I used to eat 2 eggs, apple sticks, and fat free yogurt and water!!! For lunch I would have either tuna fish or a grilled chicken salad with very little light ranch dressing. For a snack I would have some pop smart popcorn and a diet coke. Dinner I would have either a grilled chicken breast and some steamed veggies and yogurt or I would have grilled fish and steamed veggies. Well, I hoped this helped!!! I did this program for 9 months and lost all of my weight. After a few months I increased riding the bike 30 min. twice a day though. Good Luck!!!!

im in the same boat..i was an 8 before..im about a 14 now.. its VERY hard to lose any weight..some women never lose the weight...you just got to deal with it and move on.

my baby is 16 months..ive lost MAYBE 10-15lbs since her birth.
and i excersize/chase the baby/eat right..everything..

i guess its just the "baby pouch" ive been told lipo is the only way to really get rid of it...

we are also trying for our second.

im also only 21

your healthy as is.... its just part of being a woman. dont try to lose too much weight...that may prevent ya from getting pregnant..just be how you are now..eat right..start some prenantal vitamins and keep on tryin!

One loses weight. One turns a weight loose. Learn how to spell before you breed. Oops, too late!

You can't lose (there's that pesky word) weight if you're lazy and disorganized and undisciplined. It's simple, if you consume more calories than you burn you will not lose (there's that word again) weight.

You can balance your diet, but if you don't burn the extra calories with normal strength training or excessive cardiovascular training you won't lose weight. Make time for the gym. Your emotional well-being will also benefit from regular exercise. Eating does not, alone, make the difference in significant weight loss.

Good luck, no husband wants a fat wife.

I recommend Winsor Pilates DVDs. I went from a size 12 to a 6 using them and eating right (whole wheat, adding more veggies and fruits to meals). The basic video is only 20 minutes long so it's easy to stick with.

Good luck.

Go in the living room and dance with your child. Carry her up and down stairs. Go for walks with her. In other words, move your body. Be inefficient. Make yourself move more. The weight will come off if you are eating a balanced diet high in fiber.

The best thing you can do is to not drink anything with calories. And if you do make sure it is healthy like Milk or something. Also if you do get pregnant BREASTFEED. It helps you lose the extra pounds faster.
