Dengue is usually frequent during the rainy season in the Philippines (June to November) - with dengue caused by mosquitoes that thrive and multiply in stagnant clean water. the best non-dengue time to go to the Philippines is during the non-rainy months December to May - the off-season of Dengue...But ofcourse, don't let the Dengue stop you from coming to the Philippines.. Protection such as mosquito repelants are always helpful! But if you still must know the BEST time to go to the Philippines is during the Holidays (December) and Summer! During December, christmas parties are every where! Filipinos LOVE to eat and share their food! Summer is another best time to go to the Philippine Beach Resorts such as Boracay! =)

Dengue usally is at it's worst on the onset of rainly season at the end of July and continues through November at the onset of dry season. Yes some years have been worse than others.

The best time to visit the Philippines in my opinion is November through March. Perfect weather and seasonably cool (high 70's to low 80's) durring the daytime.

At the moment it's normally during the rainy season, which is June to November, but if they don't start understanding toilets, standing water and hygiene, there's going to be a hell of a lot more deaths. There are too many people here living in s-it and although filipinos have 2-3 showers a day, and are very clean personally, their showers and toilets are normally pretty revolting, hygiene here is not on the priority list, survival IS.
Come here between December and May, it's beautiful!!!

Dengue is Pandemic and rarely Epidemic and no it is not seasonal, it can infect you anytime of the year. Easy answer to avoiding Dengue is to avoid stagnant water, simple.

dengue is seasonal during the rainy season ( july-november). the best time to come here is from dec to may (dry season) the weather is much cooler during dec to feb, from mar to may, its hot and humidity is also high, but people find ways to get cool as they go to the beaches and get tanned :-)
