i used to work for best buy and as good as ipods may be they are over priced for what you get. i got a 20 gig sony digital music player for $150 where an ipod of that size i have seen selling for $300 and up. what you want to look for is any mp3 player that is either a hard drive or a jump drive style mp3. creative makes on that is 512 for about $50-$90 that is a jump drive style mp3 samsung makes on that is about 2 gig for around $100 that is jump drive style sony makes digital music players that come with a cord to hook up to a computer and works like an extrernal hard drive.

You need to get a video iPod! It's the best investment you will ever make! Great quality and you'll wonder how you lived without it! And there is so many great accessory out for the iPods. You'll have a lot of fun with it!

for the nano.ipods, go to an apple store if there is one around there. while you're there, you can get accessories for it. and while you're there, you can ask them questions about the mp3s that they have because they should know quite a bit about it so you would look like a pro by the time you use it and show it off.

Best Buy is my favorite electronic toy store. (No I do not work for them) I have found that they usually can answer most questions. And here in Detroit they don't work on commissions, so I find that most of their answers are more honest.
