He is a Muslim therefore by definition he hates Jews,it's just that they only expose their hatred if they're in power or the majority in their country. While all the libs are busy kissing this guys posterior he is calmly planning a little genocide party,and guess what,we're all invited. If you are a Jew,Christian,or any other group than his he will give you two options if it's in his power, convert or die. I really would love to see all the people who think talking to this guy while he builds nuclear weapons is a good idea try living in his country,then you could find out how sane he is. For the journalists supporting him they would find out what it's like to live in a country where if you disagree openly with the govt you end up in prison or worse,and with the human rights record of the Arab world how any lib could defend these people is a mystery. Almost every group represented by libs would be put in prison or executed in an Arab country,try being openly gay in Tehran and tell me how that works out for you for example.
However I personally hope that all the appeasers get their way on this,so that when the first nuclear weapon detonates in Tel Aviv or New York we can once and for all see the absolute inability of the Liberal mindset to deal with real life problems in ways that actually succeed.

Well... following World War 2, they decided to make a homeland for the Jews, who were mostly displaced throughout the world after being expelled from their holy land during the crusades and placed mostly within Europe. Much anti-Jewish sentiment in Europe was still rampant as many people saw the Jews as the cause of this terrible war. At the time, most of the middle East was the territory or Britain and France. The traditional homeland of the Jews was located in what was now the territory of Palestine which for a while had belonged to the Ottoman Empire until it had been split by the French and British. They grabbed all of Palestine, traditional Judea, and a bit of Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan and created Israel. Basically, all Palestinians were left without a country of the own, as following the creationg of Israel, each of the arab nations were given independence and Palestinians were left with no nation. A war set out in the 1950s between Arab Nations and Israel to reclaim the land that had been set forth by NATO using what was then own by Britain and France. They lost. The Palestians were then sent to the West Bank and Gaza strip as a division and the Israelis took the Golan Heights from Syria which they had lost. Another war was fought later in the 60s and the arab nations were humiliated after they were beaten to by the small Israeli millitary.

Meanwhile, the US began to back up the existance of Israel as a sovereign state. Many in the middle east felt that Israel, who had taken what was then Islam's holiest sites in and around Jerusalem, where most of the early history of the religion, based on judaism, takes places, was like a thorn in their side. Forcibly created against their will, and basically ruining the nice little arab/islamic culture they had going for them.

Further hatred began to occur when Palestinians were stripped of their nationality and the nation of Palestine, who's borders were claimed OVER the borders Israel also claimed was no longer recognized by world government. Palestinians then received Jordanian citizenship in return. More wars were fought in the 80s to attempt and take back the land, but eventually the muslims accepts the idea of Israel and now just want the return of their holiest sites. The thing is that these are the same holy sites the Jews and Christians share and they refuse to give them up to Muslim control due to their now feverent hatred for each other.

So now, a war to pretty much get rid of Israel, restore Palestine, and gain back the holy sites is in play. The president of Iran is just one of those people who is most for this idea. They dislike the US because the US backs Israel, and the US has millitary bases in Saudi Arabia, which to them is the holiest site where most of true Islamic history occured (the part not related to judaism and christianity). So they see Americans are invading their holy land and also backing up the unfairly created Jewish nation. They have come to see the US as basically the only thing now standing in their way. Previously, they feared the USSR who was trying to spread communism into the area, so they tended to stay away from attacking the US as much, now with the USSR out of the way, they are pretty much seeing the destruction of the US as the way of restoring the status quo and ridding themselves of the Israeli problem. Over time, this whole ordeal has festered in such a way that it has now become the arab world wanting to see the desctruction of all jews, israel, and they only solution is by bringing down the one thing that stands in their way: The West, lead on by the US.

When George Bush made his now infamous speech about the Axis of Evil, few in America seemed to complain about it, and I would suppose that the explanation was the shock effect of an American President speaking like that to the world including those who eventually put the current Iranian President into office.
Now, let me see, certainly the people of Iran, dark humor, were quivering in their boots as Mr Bush uttered these fatal words.
Now of course, their is a little different tone, Bush is now trying to persuade the powerful European Countries to put sanctions on Iran, but not everyone is not particularly listening to Mr. Bush at this point.
Some folks seem to remember that provocation followed by invasion are not the greatest formula for building support for another type of war with Iran.
If I was a betting man, I would bet that Bush doesn't even know of the CIA overthrow of the Iranian Government back in the 50's. In other words, Bush does not have a usable strategy for dealing with Iran because he does not know what Iran is or is not. Just like in Iraq, what Bush knows is how to tell a joke and to pat rich men on the knee.
But we do have one pissed-off Iran daring us to invade.
