Flashback with Keifer Sutherland is one of the best films for humour and seriousness there is. It is 80's I think but get it it's awsome.
Evolution is also good.
The best film of all time for lasting the test of time is Jaws.

i thought the film Running Scared was very good. It was twisted but it shows you what really happens in the world and the amount of twisted people there are about. there is not a day that goes by when i dont think about what happens in that film could be happening right now.

Dr Zchivago... it just draws you in, you feel the bleakness and severity of the Russian winters, the mournful despair at his Mothers funeral, the passions of the characters in the story, and the politics are so well presented even an idiot would follow the storyline.

"Meet Joe Black" Brad Pitt and Antony Hopkins. It was funny, sad, romantic, thought provoking, an evergreen story told in a brand new way. It was an easy, gentle tale of the inevitability of life. Also good music and good acting.

requem for a dream - that movie was crazy and made think for a long time after. its just crazy how bad things can get, when you thought you had hit rock bottom, and it just kept on getting worse.
eternal sunshine of the spotless mond - i thought of this movie and still do, it was great and so well acted and the concept was amazing. and the fact that even with the momery erased they still found eachother. im a hopeless romantic!

well to answer the initial question:
The Hill Have Eyes, that rape scene is burned into my brain lol. I will NEVER forget that movie.
Which one impressed me the most:
Training Day. I never really like Denzel before that one, it really opened my eyes up to how good of an actor he is, because he can play more than just the good guy role.
