no, just be careful of what information you put on there. Never put where your from, or e-mail or anything that you don't want other people to know!! Neve accpet people the you don't fee comforable with. And you can even set your page to privite so that only the people you want can be your friend.
If you want you can look at my page

No its not dangerous. Ive had a myspace for a year and ive never been endangered by it in any way at all. Everyone always wants to blame myspace for things that happed but it isnt myspace's fault. You can set your profile so that no one except your friends can see it, you can choose to not let anyone not on your friends list to contact you, and many other things. As long as you are careful and smart, nothing bad will happen. Don't accept friend requests or talk to anyone you dont know in real life, because there are a lot of bad people on myspace. Otherwise, you should be completely safe! Hope this helps!

Not if you're careful.

1. Never download anything! Viruses and worms and spyware are all rampant on MySpace, so keep your antivirus updated.
2. Only enter your password on www.myspace.com so that nobody can steal it. I haven't seen this but I have been warned that you can get redirected and you end up inputting your password into some fake site. If you do get booted out, close your browser, open a new window, and start over. No sweat.
3. DON'T MEET ANYBODY IN PERSON! That should go without saying, but stupid little girls are still getting abducted or raped or whatever because they trusted people they met online. Please don't be one of them!
4. Don't post identifying info online. Phone #, real name, precise location, favorite hangout, or your school.

After all of that I will tell you that I've NEVER had a problem and if you are careful and smart about it, you will have a TON of fun meeting people, playing with your layout, etc. Enjoy!

No. You do need some precautions though. 1) In the account setting they give you some options you definitely need to check. They are 1) Only allow your friends to see your profile 2) Ask for your last name of email to add you 3) Don't allow requests from bands. That way, you can monitor everything that deals with your site. I love using it...I just don't talk to people I don't know.

Its not dangerous if your careful. Just talk to your friends, and don't friend anybody who you don't know, even if they seem like a really great person. You can do this thing where nobody except you friends can see your page/contact you, if you want. Good Luck & Stay Safe!

make sure you dont put ANYTHING private up... like where you live, how old you are, your phone #... anything that could give yourself away to predators... BE CAREFUL!!!!!! And if anyone you dont know starts IMing you or emailing you- immediately block them!
