Soccer is the most physical demanding sporting event in the whole world,it's fun to play.It's physically demanding because you can't call time out like football or basketball,but you can substitute 2 more players. You only have one half time and that's it. So you have to be inshape to participate in a real soccer game. You can't be fat or overweight to play it,but you have to be well condition to play it. You have to start when you are very young to master the fundamentals or else it's not like any other sport you pick at any time. You really,really need some skills or else it will be horrible to watch people make a fool of themselves on a soccer field.

brazil is like lots of other countries, football / soccer is the main sport that all play, watch, and live it. USA on the other hand, play lots of different sports, but the money is in American football, basketball & baseball, the tv networks make sure of this ,so the top athletes are lured towards these sports to play due to the big money on offer

Americans like to use their hands at sport, so football isn't the most interesting to them, I mean would they watch a person kick a ball. Or hit it with a bat.
