They have "less than 6 people at all time"... are not required to pass code, not required to follow city ordinances, and not reqired to report themselfs as a 1/2way house. Oh yeah, its for mentaly unstable people as well.... They say its mostly women, but there are all kinds of weirdo's in and out of there... this is directly across from a school... i share a whole side of my back yard with it!!!!!!!! What do you think i should do? Whats your oppinion, any one have a similar experiance?

Its actually in a residence. Its a normal looking house (i used to play at that house when i was a little kid...it wasnt a 1/2way house then). Havent called the cops, although, the cops contacted me regarding it (from the e-mail the city forwarded them)... They have made 6 calls there in the last MONTH!.. so miss gypsy whatever, i think i have every right to "judge", especially when all calls were involving the mental stability of people living there. I'm still waiting to hear back from the principal of the school, as well as the local news station.... nice to know their so on it. The city council actually told me they have no jurisdiction on places like that... oh that makes alot of sence. And also, I'm in California... and im not a cop caller :)

Contact the mayor's office, the city council. Write your district representative.

ANytime the slightest thing goes wrong or bothers you call the cops. The police hate to be harrassed. You did right by getting the media involved. They push the most sway in today's society.

Has it occurred to you that these people may be harmless. You seem to be upset that there are people with mental illnesses living near you, but you have not stated a single thing that these people have done wrong. That sounds like prejudice to me.

Seems like a case of bad urban planning. Which building came first?
