Socrates seems to have often said that his wisdom was limited to an awareness of his own ignorance.

existence rules, ok?
no happiness outside reality
pursue your happiness every second, every day, with all you've got
pursuit of your happiness is the whole of duty
that invisible thing you readily identify as you - learn to stroke that and it purrs complete fulfillment
justice is the source of everything good
we have super-extreme injustice in pay
selfearned money is always good - otherearned money is the root of all evils
take out of society only as much as you put in, or you will have the robbed hounding you to death
experience your self, bathe in your being
existence is the overlooked treasure
everything appears finite, but everything is infinite
life is a treasure hunt
imperfection outside, perfection inside
nonexistence exists only as a concept, not as a reality
life is change, death is change - all is life

A guy was in a room with Eleanor Roosevelt, Dr pepper and NIke, he asked what should I do about the fact that my life is crap. Eleanor Roosevelt replied "Do one thing everyday that scares you", the man replied 'Why', Nike, bored of the guy said "Just do it". Dr Pepper agreed with them both and trying to reassure the man said "What's the worst that can happen"
I just made that up, I was bored.
The one I live by, though I have no idea why and doesn't really have anything to do with life is by Grouch Marx when he said "Outside of a dog a book is a man's best friend, inside of a dog it's too dark to read".

"an eye for an eye" "a penny saved a penny earned" "it's better to say nothing and be thought a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt" "wasting someone elses time is stealing their time" "don't do the crime if you can't do the time" "it doesn't matter if you're black or white, the only color that really maters is green" "is the cup half empty or half full?" "all's well that ends well" and the most philosophic quote of all is "why?"

This is from the Four Agreements, I really recomend that book, exspecially if you're into philosophy.
My quote is:
"The Smoke is the Dream, and the Mirror is the Dreamer."
Good luck on your conquest for knowledge.
Here are a couple fun ones.
girls:"Life's like a d^ck, when it gets hard, F**K IT!"
boys: "Life's like a p^ssy, when your in deep, try harder."

Wisest of all is he who knows that he knows nothing.
a close second is Nietzsche
God is dead. For if God no longer lives in the minds of the people he must have died a long time ago

"No sooner do we depart from sense and instinct to follow reason but we are insensibly drawn into uncouth paradoxes, difficulties, and inconsistencies, which multiply and grow upon us as we advance in speculation; till at length, having wandered through many intricate mazes, we find ourselves just where we were, or, which is worse, sit down in a forlorn scepticism."

He who runs behind truck is exhausted, he who runs in front of truck is tired.
When he who hears does not know what he who speaks means, and when he who speaks does not know what he himself means, that is philosophy.
