Basically my prom is in oooh about 6 months and I'm really stuck on what sort of dress to buy.
I am a small person, about 5ft 2 and I'm thin with a 32 A bust but my hips are curvy. It's quite a weird figure.
anywho, so tradition is that practically all the girls wear long dresses only I would look so ridiculous in a long dress because i'm so short. So I need a short dress or at least a dress down to my knees but I don't want a cocktail dress or anything I want a proper beautiful prom dress.
but I have no idea where to start and what designers to go for or what style dress I should get to compliment my figure. Can you please name some websites or designers or any dress you've seen that you might think would be what i'm looking for and tell me what style dress I should get - thank you so much!
I live in the UK by the way, and don't worry about cost unless it's anything over £500 or something lol

no need to be so hateful mishnbong, I just quoted any random price, I would never in a million years make fun of someones figure - it's a shame you haven't been taught any manners but there we go.

my daughter Emily is 5" tall she is a size 6 and i thought a long dress would swamp her also but she went to debenhams and went to the designer "coast" The dress she chose was out of this world it was fitted across the bust with a kind of fake support (in the chest area) it came down to just below her calves. With a tiny pair of kitten heels and evening bag she looked delightful she hasn;t got large hips but the dress does flare out at the hips it cost about £120.00

5ft 2 is a GORGEOUS height! You would look fab in a dress that comes straight across the bust and is fitted to the ankles and then "fishtails" out. Believe me, I thought I would look dumb too, but go try some on and you will be amazed.
Go knock em dead!

stay removed from hollister and abercrombie! continually 21 and H&M are the superb for widespread and occasional cost outfits city clothing stores is a little extra costly, yet you will desire to attempt to combine some extra costly products into your closet (ie an rather solid pair of denims) additionally, attempt thrift shops! circulate to the e book shop and internet site by some style magazines (you do not would desire to purchase them!) to get thought solid success!!!
