Three particular moments get me blubbing like a big girls blouse!

Schindlers List, when Oscar is about to leave the factory and is lamenting the other lives he could have saved... "this gold pin... that would have got me another five lives... one at least... this..." etc. He's done so much for so many, and he's still distraught at those he couldn't save.

Godfather 3... when Al Pacino is suffering the agony of seeing his daughter die... you want to breath in an take some oxygen for his sake, and when he lets it out.... however this moment is partially diluted for me because he uses the same gambit to express and orgasm with Michelle Pfeifer in "Sea of Love"

Also in "Somewhere in Time" when Christopher Reeve accidentally returns back to his own time, and realises he has lost the love of his life... so sad.

The Execution of Private Eddie Slovik - true story of the only American soldier to be shot for 'desertion' in World War II, a made-for-TV movie with Martin Sheen, Amazon.com had it the last time I looked - will make you cry and be angry at the same time. Should be much more widely known.

The Green Mile (I see I'm not alone in that).

True Blue - the history of the Oxford Boat Race Mutiny, not the other one.

An Angel At My Table - the story of Janet Frame, a brilliant writer who was nearly given a lobotomy.

Vera Drake - anybody who wants to drive abortion back into the hole-and-corner it used to inhabit should definitely watch how it used to be done.

Dead Man Walking.

none i don't cry to films but i can remember a song which came out when frank bruno fought mike tyson - the tune was the theme from rocky and there were clips from the fight woven into the song .at one point harry carpenter says ' and bruno has hurt tyson, bruno has hurt tyson - get in there frank ' . That always brought a lump to my throat, because everyone in the uk wanted frank to be world champ at that time but he never quite made it.
