60/5 = 12 which means there are 12 calories per cracker.

100 / 12 = 8.3

So it will take 9 crackers to get over 100 calories.

Divide 60 calories into the number of crackers it took to make 60 calories 5. 5 into 60 equals 12. Since 12 is the number of calories each cracker has then 100 calories will take 12 divided into 100 calories since each cracker is 12 calories. 12 divided into 100 equals 8 Remainder of 4 calories to apply to 4 of the 8 crackers 12 calories then 13 calories to the other 4 that you need for 100 calories. 12x4=48 13x4=52 for a total of 100 calories

4 crackers equal 13 calories. 4 crackers equal 12 calories. For 100 calories. Or 7 crackers can be 12 calories and 1 cracker could be 16 calories. Or 1 more cracker can equal 12 calories plus 1 more cracker can be worth 4 calories (if you want to make a total of 9 crackers you can have 8 crackers with 12 calories and 1 with 4 calories.

Ok, here goes: you divide the 5 by 60 to get how many crackers in a calorie. Then you multiply by 100. The answer I got was 8 1/3

if there are 60 calaroies in 5 crackers, then 1 cracker has 12 calories (60/5=12) you divide 100 by 12(# of calories in 1 cracker) you get 8.3333333333 you would have to eat 8 1/3 crackers to get exactly 100 calories
if you have to round, then put 9 crackers

(P.S. Although im pretty sure its right, u better double check it)

Ready!!!
5/60 represents 5 crackers for every 60 calories
x/100 represents how many crackers are in 100 calories

simple equation 5/60 = x/100
Cross multiply 500 = 60x
Divide by 60 x = 8 crackers

1 and 3/4 because 2 crackers has over 100 calories it has 120 because 60+60=120 and a half of 60 = 30

The answer is 8.5 or 8 1/3 crackers.

If there is 60 calories in 5 crackers then you simply divide 5 into 60 to find how many calories in each cracker.

60calories in total/5 crackers = 12 calories per cracker

Next, you would have to take 100 calories and divide that by 12 (since that's the number of calories in each cracker and since your are trying to find out how many crackers are equal to 100 calories.)

100calories total/12calories per cracker= 8.33 or 8 1/3

So answer is 8.33 or 8 1/3 crackers! =)

*Sorry, I originally mixed up my math but this answer is correct.

Well, there are 12 calories per cracker, which means you'll need to eat at least 8 and a half crackers. 8*12 = 96. You're 4 calories short if you only eat 8. It is between 8 and 9.

5 crackers=60 calories

so use this equation

5/60=x/100

5x100=500

500=60x

500/60=8.33

x=8.33

so basically 8 and 1/3 crackers equal 100 calories

9 crackers because 60 x 2=120 which would be 10 crackers and that's a little too much so I would say 9.
