Many posts have said that they don't know who is running, but if you read the paper, the internet, or watch the news on TV, EVERYONE should know who intends to run! Allen, Pataki, MCCain, Clinton, Biden, Hagel, Lieberman, etc. We have no right to complain about our government, it we don't even know who's running, and what he or she stands for!

I would like somebody that genuinely cares and examines the issues rather than simply sticking with a party platform. Ideally, I would vote for a candidate that could actually make intelligent, thoughtful decisions and not simply cater to and manipulate the masses so as to remain in power.

This, however, is extraordinarily unlikely to happen.

I have been watching the news and there is no one that is running at this time that I would vote for . I haven't heard enough from them or they aren't saying what I want to hear .
I would really like to see them discuss the issues in more depth and expand on their own ideas about illegal immigration , how we are going to handle getting out of Iraq , security at home and if we are going to support our troops , we'd damn well better give them what they need , help for the working class might be a good idea and how about closing our borders .
When I hear some answers to these issues then I will begin the process of who to vote for .
Please pick your candidate and VOTE ***VOTE ***VOTE ****VOTE *****VOTE ******VOTE !!!!!!!!

There is no way to NOT be partisan because there are no candidates, so the only way a person could answer is based on what party they think they will be voting with.

Nice try, though.

I do not know who is running yet. Once the candidates are announced then I will listen to their platforms and debates and decide at that time.

It will be hard not to vote for the Democratic candidate, if only because we have a two party system and the GOP has shown that they cannot govern this country.

I have considered the option and have decided to let my other half vote on behalf of us both, though I will give my thoughts to balance the decision .

How about if we give the "candidates" the "courtesy" of letting us know they plan to run?

I am hoping that John McCain will run. I think he is a good middle of the road choice with experience and knowledge.
